HALIFAX, NOVA SCOTIA–(Marketwire – June 14, 2011) – Corridor Resources Inc. (“Corridor”)(TSX:CDH) is pleased to announce that Mr. Martin Fraess-Ehrfeld has been appointed to its Board of Directors. Mr. Fraess-Ehrfeld is a partner with The Children’s Investment Fund Management (UK) LLP (“TCI”), based in London, UK and brings considerable energy investment experience and expertise to the Corridor Board. As of May 31, 2011, TCI controlled 18.14% of the outstanding common shares of Corridor. Mr. Fraess-Ehrfeld joins Messrs. John H. (Jack) Bray, Achille E. Desmarais, J. Douglas Foster, Phillip R. Knoll, Norman W. Miller, Robert D. Penner and W.C. (Mike) Seth, each of whom was elected at the annual and special meeting of shareholders of Corridor held on June 14, 2011.
Corridor is an Eastern Canadian company engaged in the exploration for and development and production of petroleum and natural gas onshore in New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island and Quebec and offshore in the Gulf of St. Lawrence. Corridor currently has natural gas reserves and production in the McCully Field near Sussex, New Brunswick and discovered crude oil reserves in the Caledonia Field near Sussex, New Brunswick in 2008.
