Phillip R. Knoll - President and Director
Director with Corridor since 2010.

In October 2010, Mr. Phillip Knoll became President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Corridor Resources Inc. Mr. Knoll has 30 years of varied experience in the energy sector and has held leadership roles in the development, acquisition, implementation and operation of businesses across the natural gas industry. This entailed leading senior teams in the development and execution of strategic plans, as well as restructuring initiatives related to mergers and acquisitions. 

Prior to the Corridor appointment, Mr. Knoll operated his own energy consulting business, Knoll Energy Inc.  His previous work experience also includes the following roles: Group Vice President of Duke Energy Gas Transmission; President of Maritimes & Northeast Pipeline; President of Westcoast Gas Services and Senior Vice President Westcoast Energy Ltd.; Chief Operating Officer of TransCanada Midstream; and President of ANG Gathering & Processing Inc. and Senior Vice President Alberta Natural Gas. 

He is a graduate of St. Francis Xavier University and the Technical University of Nova Scotia (P.Eng.). He is currently on a number of boards including: Bankers Petroleum Ltd. and Heritage Gas Nova Scotia. Mr. Knoll has worked on a number of energy projects in New Brunswick over the last 20 years. These projects have involved the investment of billions of dollars and have lead to significant economic activity, job creation and benefits to the province.

Lisette F. Hachey - Chief Financial Officer
Joined Corridor Resources in April 2006.

Lisette Hachey received a Bachelor of Commerce concentrating in accounting in 1989 and a chartered accountant designation in 1991. From 1989 - 1997, she worked with Ernst & Young focusing on audit related services. Since then she has accumulated 7 years of accounting experience with publicly traded companies first with NBTel Inc. and most recently with Emera Inc. as Manager of Accounting for Emera Energy and Assistant Controller for Nova Scotia Power.

Dr. Tom Martel - Chief Geologist
Joined Corridor Resources Inc. in April 1998.

Dr. Martel completed a B.Sc. (Hons) in geology from Dalhousie University in 1979. He was employed by TransCanada Pipeline Ltd. as a petrophysicist and reservoir geologist (1981 to 1983) and subsequently by the New Brunswick Department of Natural Resources as a petroleum geologist (1983 to 1986). He returned to Dalhousie University and completed a Ph.D. on lacustrine and continental sedimentology and stratigraphy in 1990. After a year of teaching at St. Francis Xavier University, Dr. Martel was awarded a two year N.A.T.O Post-Doctoral Fellowship to Oxford University to study tidal sedimentation in the European Alps. Following the fellowship, he lectured at Oxford (1993) and then returned to Halifax where he taught at Dalhousie University (1994-1995).

In 1995 he was hired as an Assistant Professor of Research at Dalhousie University to work on the hydrogeology and sedimentology within Carboniferous coal-bearing formations in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia.  He began consulting to Corridor in June 1995 before being hired on full time in 1998.

Paul Durling - Chief Geophysicist
Joined Corridor Resources Inc. in May 1997.

Paul Durling received a BSc (1984) in Geology and Physics from Dalhousie University. He subsequently joined the Geological Survey of Canada where he applied geophysical techniques to study the geology of the Grand Banks, Scotian Shelf and the Gulf of St. Lawrence. During this time, he co-authored 18 papers and 22 abstracts. His most recent work involved the structural and stratigraphic analysis of seismic reflection data in southern New Brunswick, northern Nova Scotia and the Gulf of St. Lawrence.

Douglas Bailey - Manager, Production Operations
Joined Corridor Resources Inc. in October 2006.

Douglas Bailey received a BSc (1971) in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Alberta. Since graduation he has worked in all aspects of the design, construction and operation and management of oil and gas facilities and pipelines. He also has significant experience in financial analysis, contract negotiations and regulatory processes associated with gas transmission and processing facilities.

During his career Douglas has worked for Gulf Canada, Niven Seville Engineering and the ATCO Group. The past 20 years have been at a senior manager level.

Dena Murphy - Manager of Quality, Health, Safety, & Environment
Joined Corridor Resources Inc. in June 2006.

Dena Murphy completed a B.Sc. (Honors) joint degree in biology and geology from Memorial University of Newfoundland in 1992, a M.Sc. degree in organic geochemistry from the University of Victoria in 1994 and a Master of Marine Management (M.M.M.) degree from Dalhousie University in 1996.  From 1996-1998, she worked with SNC-Lavalin in Halifax as an environmental consultant for oil and gas projects such as the Sable Offshore Energy Project and the Maritimes & Northeast Pipeline. From 1998-1999, she worked with Fisheries and Oceans Canada at the Bedford Institute of Oceanography as an Oceans Strategy Officer. From 1999-2001, she worked for the Canadian Association of Petroleum Producers in Halifax as a Policy Analyst and was involved in the management of a broad range of issues facing the oil and gas industry. From 2001-2006, she worked with Marathon Canada Petroleum ULC. in Halifax as their Atlantic Canada HSE Coordinator, managing all health, safety and environment issues for East Coast operations. While working with Marathon, Dena also completed a long term assignment in Houston, Texas, and worked on onshore and offshore projects in West Africa.
